Happy August!
From the Office:
As you can see August is coming in hot, so please make sure you bring those water bottles for the children and apply sunscreen each and every morning. We do take weather conditions into consideration in scheduling outside times for the children. Most outside activities will take place in the early morning thus it is necessary for all children to have their sun screen lotions applied before arriving for the day.
We have some great activities to finish out the summer. On August 11 our travel camp will decorate a pillowcase; on August 12 they will go to The American Helicopter Museum and on the August 13 the whole school will enjoy music and storytelling with Clem Bowen. On Friday August 14 everyone should “dress like what you want to be when you grow up”. I can’t wait to see the fabulous outfits that walk in the door!
To finish off our last week of camp we will be making class books, dressing like our favorite story book characters and will celebrate with our END OF SUMMER PARTY!!!! On this day we will be having a beach party outside with popsicles, beach balls, music and more. Please have your children wear their bathing suit on this day too!!!
As our school year is closing in upon us, we want to thank everyone for a fantastic, fun filled summer!! We look forward to a great school year. We will be having a back to school night Thursday, August 27th from 5:00-6:30. Come on in and get to know the teachers and classroom that your child will be moving into for the new school year.
