We have had an amazing great start to our back to school season! Many of you have invited friends and coworkers to join us. The best compliment you can give our staff is sharing the pleasure your family has at Chesterbrook Academy and how your child has thrived in our academic programs. We have been enjoyed hearing the success stories of our graduates as many have come back to share! Our next public open house is November 7th, don’t forget to tell your friends.
Our Fall season has a full calendar of events. Check out the new bulletin board near the front desk keeping you informed about upcoming events and a school calendar. We will end October with our largest family in house event the Fall Festival. We would like every family to donate a bag of nut free candy, stickers, or small treasures. We will send out more details related to this great family event. If you own a business you would like to showcase or know of a vendor that would like to showcase at the open house please ask them to contact Jennifer Sale, at our school.
Congratulations to our school in receiving the Rewarding for Excellence grant from Smart Start. This grant provides funds to be used in rewarding our staff, purchasing classroom materials and funds for the administrative staff to receive training in topics that relate to the early childcare field. Our school was one of 15 to receive the honor in the Charlotte area.
With the fall season comes cooler temperatures. Take time to change out your child’s extra clothing items in their cubby. Make sure you have a complete set available at all times.
Reminder we have ancillary programs that offer children to explore with music, dance, and sports. Details for each program can be found in the front office. New classes begin each month, except for Soccer which does an 8 week or 16 week soccer program. These programs are offered during the normal school day.
