April News 2016

April showers bring May flowers!  We are so ready for spring at Chesterbrook Academy Estelle Drive.  April will hopefully not bring much rain so we can enjoy our new playground that is scheduled to be installed on April 12th.  Watch for a playground dedication date in the near future.

“Tadpoles” has been received very well.  Thank you to all the positive comments in regards to the new program.   We look forward to providing our families with more pictures and communication in the future.

Upcoming events for April can be viewed on our website and our lobby parent board.  Here are some highlights:

  • Playground Installation April 12th
  • Week of the Young Child Activities, week of April 11th
  • Scholastic Book Fair April 18th
  • Ladybug Release and Butterfly Release
  • Arbor Day, plant a tree

Since the weather is becoming warmer, please remember to bring in water bottles or cups with lids to take on the playground.  Sunscreen with child’s name label can also be brought in for the warmer days ahead.  Remember to please have an extra set of clothes for your child to keep here at school in case of spills or accidents.

Parents please remember to sign in your child in the binder on the parent countertop, as well as checking your parent folder on a daily basis.

I am pleased to announce that Miss Corinne Enck and Miss Jessica Feliciano will be joining our staff in April.  Miss Corinne is a student from Millersville University, she will help in various rooms at first and during the summer she will lifeguard for our summer camp swim times and help with camp activities too. Miss Jessica will be our new Toddler B teacher, she is a graduate of Millersville University and is excited to join our staff and teach our littlest members of our school.  Welcome to both young ladies!

We thank you for allowing us to teach, nurture and love your children each and every day!  Our door is always open!

Warm Regards, Wendy Musser, Principal
