From the Desk of the Principal:
Dear Parents:
This is my first official newsletter as your new Principal here at Wayne and what exciting transition it has been! . As September comes to an end, I want to thank all the parents for helping this school year start so smoothly, and for the amazing support you have shown to me in this new part of my career. We have so many exciting activities planned for the Fall, and the children and teachers seem to have settled in nicely to their new routines, and quickly adjusted to the cooler weather.
October will be a busy month here at school and the adventures will keep the children engaged each day. We will have a Pumpkin decorating contest, older children will have their Field trip to the Orchard, Fire truck visit on October 11th @ 9:30am, and of course our annual Halloween Parade on the 31st at 3:30pm. All classroom parties will take place after the parade with the exception of Kindergarten. Make sure to mark your calendars, and plan to be here! Please be sure to check the classroom doors for individual events and classroom activities.
Also please note-School will be CLOSED on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. This is our in-service training and we are excited to share new information with the teachers. As always we continue to arm our teachers with the tools to be successful in their career path, and to create the most nurturing environment for your children.
