From the Principal’s Office
The end of 2016 has come so fast and it is exciting to look back on all of the growth that has happened here at Chesterbrook! Open House
We will be having our next Open House Event on January 21, 2017. Times will be available closer to the date.
For Parents
We will still be going outside (weather permitting) as long as the temperature is 32 degrees or above. We ask that everyone dress appropriately for the weather (coats, hats, gloves, socks, scarves) or at least have an extra pair of these items in their cubbies.
With the weather consistently being colder we do ask that any change of clothes that are in your child’s cubby to be changed to winter clothes (long sleeves, long pants, and extra socks).
Winter is also the time when there are a lot of sniffly noses! We will be washing hands and practicing responsible hygiene even more and encourage parents to practice good hand washing habits at home with their children!
Holidays mean vacation for a lot of families and we want to remind parents that you are allotted one vacation week per year and if you would like to use it during this time please let Vikki or Christina know at minimum the Friday before the week of the vacation.
Due to the holidays some of our teachers will also have some time off, but if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask!

Parent’s Night Out!
For our parent’s night out event this month we will have the theme of “The Polar Express.” Children will be able to explore the North Pole and dive into the story of hope, magic, and holiday spirit! A special gift will be given to those that attend to see if we can really hear the magic of the holidays. A hot chocolate station and fun holiday treat will be provided while we play festive games! For further details please see Vikki or Christina.
