Dear Chesterbrook Families,
Happy February! It looks like we are in for six more weeks of winter, according to Punxsutawney Phil! Whether it’s true or the weather warms up, we will stay busy here at Chesterbrook in February. Please see below for some important days:
Friday 2/3: Wear your favorite sports jersey
Tuesday 2/7: PJ Day! Wear your favorite pajamas to school
Thursday 2/9: Dentist visit for Intermediates, Pre-K and Kindergarten
Tuesday 2/14: Valentine’s Day
Monday 2/20: School Closed~ Staff Professional Development Day
Thank you to all of our families for your cooperation and understanding of our closing school on Monday February 20th. This day will be utilized as a Professional Development Day for all of our staff. During the day we will all be CPR/First Aid certified, receive training on Tadpoles and parent communication, and Links to Learning curriculum. This day is also about celebrating the accomplishments of our teachers and recognizing their hard work and dedication to our students and school!
Don’t forget to turn in your Valentine’s orders to CPAT by Tuesday February 7th! Write a special message to your child on a heart shape paper and CPAT will attach it to a special Valentine’s Day stuffed toy to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Who doesn’t love a special surprise on Valentine’s Day?!?!?
Have a Fantastic February!
Sincerely,
Kasey and the Team at Chesterbrook Academy Marlton
I would like to send some reminders on CBA policies that are included in our Parent Handbook and Preschool Tuition Agreements:

*To qualify for a vacation credit, your child must be enrolled at Chesterbrook for at least 6 months. Two weeks written notice must be provided. Vacation credits are issued (after initial 6 month enrollment period) on July 1st and can be utilized until June 30 of the following year.**
*Medication may not be left in your child’s classroom. Please do not leave any medication (prescription, over the counter, nasal spray, Tylenol, etc.) in your child’s bag/backpack/cubby. While the medications may be in a backpack or cubby, these areas are accessible to our students and we do not want any accidents.
*Medication logs must be completed for any type of medication (medication logs are available in the sign-in/out binder at the front desk), medication must be in the original packaging, prescription medications must be in the original packaging with the prescription label attached. Also, any over the counter medications must be accompanied by a doctor’s note stating the purpose of the medication, when to administer and dosage.
*Children may NOT be left unattended in a vehicle at any time or for any reason in our parking lot.
*Please bring in only commercially prepared foods for classroom celebrations. It is important that we have complete ingredient lists of food products to ensure no allergies to the food.
