Happy May 2020
As I create this newsletter, we are still in a “Stay at Home” mandate from our PA Governor Thomas Wolfe. It is hard to believe this is going on two months of our Quarantine from Covid-19. It is safe to say that we as a human race never fathomed that we would ever be in this dire situation. The news we listen to and watch emulates the daily struggles of unemployment, shortages on necessities and our dwindling economy. There are also many inspiring stories from humans in our community of chalk paintings of rainbows on sidewalks and driveways, children drawing thank you cards for medical staff and local businesses donating food and other items. We also see “Zoom” used for not just important meeting rooms, but for chorus groups singing and other types of positives of socializing.
Mr. Zach and I have seen firsthand the resilience of our students and families when we contact them by phone and email. We love hearing that they are healthy and spending time with each other, despite what is going on outside their front door. We are also delighted with our Distance Learning students and families as well. Each day we see their smiling faces on the “Zoom” calls, they are happy to have some socialization during the long days of staying home. We love sharing the artwork and educational strides with other schools within the Spring Education Group Family. The amount of passion and inspiration from Principals from across the country are exhilarating.
I challenge everyone to find time to be inspiring and send a thank note through email, Facebook, other social media, or draw a rainbow of hope on your sidewalk. Keep the positive vibes alive and well in your homes.
There is no definitive date for reopening the preschool as of yet, news will be sent as soon as possible. In the meantime, Mr. Zach and I wish all continued good health, happy family time, and the creation of more inspiring stories of hope and resilience from our families near and far. We hope to see you all safely very soon.
Stay Well and Be Safe,
Wendy Musser, Principal

A Note From Our Principal
Now more than ever, we are in awe of the flexibility and resilience of our students and families. We have enjoyed seeing you all online the past few weeks and are hopeful that we can be together again soon. In the meantime, we are in the process of planning for summer and have setup a few fun activities for us to do “together” this month. We hope you can join in!
Summer Camp
We understand that there are many unknowns right now, and are offering our families an opportunity to register for summer camp and receive a full refund of any deposit paid if we are unable to offer camp or if your child is unable to attend. Registering for camp now will save your child’s spot in our program and enable us to continue to plan field trips and special events. Please let us know if you’d like to register!
Mother’s Day Celebration 2020
We can’t be together to celebrate Mother’s Day this year and want to acknowledge all of the amazing things our moms, grandmothers, aunts and mother figures are doing during this challenging time. On Friday, May 8th we invite you all to check your emails for a very special message to all our very special ladies in our life!
School-wide Pajama Party
Wear your best jammies and join us on Zoom on Friday, May 22nd at 7: 00 p.m. for a pajama party and bedtime story! Our Principal will be reading a special story and singing a goodnight song for everyone to enjoy. An invite with the link to join will be sent out soon. We hope you can join us!
