Note from the Principal
We have had such a fun and busy start to Summer Camp here at Chesterbrook Academy at Great Falls Plaza. During the month of July, our Summer Camp Events and Activities will continue. As a reminder, we have a Spirit Day every Wednesday during the summer. Also during the month of July, we will various camp visitors on Fridays. As always, our families are invited to attend these events. Some of the visitors we will be having this month are My Reptile Guys, Peter McCory One Man Band, and Ace of Face (face painter). Each day our campers also either have a field trip, Splash Day, or camp activity planned. Please check your email for reminders of various camp activities and events throughout the month or refer to your child’s camp calendar.
From July 9th-21st, our Senior and Junior Campers will be running a shoe drive for Soles4Souls as a part of our Kids Helping Kids campaign during the month of July. Starting next Tuesday, July 9th, we will have boxes available in the lobby to drop off gently used or new shoes to donate to Soles4Souls. The last day to drop off will be on July 21st and then on July 22nd our students will prepare them to send to Soles4Souls.
During the month of July, we will also have two weeknight Open Houses for families interested in joining our school. The Open Houses will be on July 13th and July 27th from 5 pm to 7 pm and anyone interested is welcome to attend. As a reminder, we have a Parent Referral Program for families who refer their friends and family to join our school. Please see our Communication Board in the lobby for more information.
As a reminder, our 2017-2018 Tuition Rates went into effect starting July 2nd. Please see either myself or Ms. Diana with any questions you may have.

Monthly Safety Reminder
Please be sure to walk your child completely back to their classroom when dropping them off. During pick up time, please be sure that your child enters the hallway/lobby only when you are accompanying them.
Parent Communication Center
The parent communication center is located in our front lobby. The communication center contains the following:
- Vacation Credit Request Forms – Please remember that vacation credits run July 1st to July 1st not on calendar year
- Receipt & Statement book
- Alternative Pick Up Binder
- Extra Lunch & Snack Menus
- Daily postings of important events and due dates
- Food Policy
As a reminder, it is a school policy that food from home is not allowed in the building for our Toddlers and up. It is to hard to monitor all the different types of food that can be brought in and we do have some severe allergies in our building. All children Beginners and up must eat breakfast at home before coming to school, please refrain from sending muffins, Dunkin Donuts, cereal, sandwiches, etc. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to come and speak with someone at the front desk.
Tuition Policy
Please remember that tuition is due every Friday for the upcoming week and that it is late at noon on Monday. All tuition turned in after noon on Monday will receive a $25.00 late payment fee. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the front desk.
Late Pick Up Policy
Please remember that our hours of operation are 6:30am to 6:30pm. As a reminder our late pick up fee is $1 per minute starting at 6:31pm. Please be sure to pick up on time and if you do plan to be late, we ask that you please call to give us a heads up.
Toy Policy
Toys from home are not permitted at school. Please refrain from allowing your child to bring in toys from home, unless it is their scheduled show and share day or a stuffed animal for nap time. Toys from home can get lost, be broken, stolen, etc… and can cause fighting among the children.
