October News

Dear Parents,

October is underway and the weather is finally cooling down.  We are always excited for this time of year because we have so many fun events to look forward to.  We have a firetruck visit scheduled during Fire Safety Week.  This is a great way to show children a firefighter all dressed up so they know they don’t have to be afraid.  Also, we are looking forward to our Mystery Reader on Wednesday, October 18th. The children always enjoy seeing a surprise visitor. Spots are filling up fast, so if you are interested in reading, please sign up soon!  Our Halloween Parade is scheduled on Halloween Day at 10:00am out in the parking lot.  We can’t wait to see you there.  We will be adding more events to the calendar, so please check our website calendar for updates.

Also this month we are scheduled for picture day on Monday, October 9th.  It is our Holiday Photo session so please look for the handout with the background choices.

Finally, please ensure your child has weather appropriate clothing in his/her cubby and remember to sign your child in and out daily using the iPad in the lobby.

As a reminder:

* We are a peanut free school.
* If your child is sick, we will adhere to our sick policy.
* Please make sure to check your child’s cubby and/or mailbox for important information.

I hope you have a fun and safe month!

Sincerely,

Michele Somishka
