Dear Parents,
We are so thankful for our families and staff and cannot wait to spend the month ahead sharing and celebrating with each of you. Thank you to all who participated in our Halloween activities last month. We hope you had as much fun as we did. Please make sure you join us for our Thanksgiving Dessert coming up this month. It is always a wonderful opportunity to connect home with school and spend time together!
With the holidays approaching it is not uncommon for visiting family members to stop in to pick-up students as a surprise. While we always love meeting our students grandparents, aunts, uncles, and siblings we do want to remind you all that anyone picking up a student must be listed as an authorized pick-up or we must be notified in advance. Visitors that are new to our school and are not accompanied by a parent are expected to show a government issued photo ID.
Finally, please ensure your child has weather appropriate clothing in his/her cubby and remember to sign your child in and out daily using the iPad in the lobby.
As a reminder:
* We are a peanut free school.
* If your child is sick, we will adhere to our sick policy.
* Please make sure to check your child’s cubby and/or mailbox for important information.
I hope you have a fun and safe month!
Sincerely,
Michele Somishka
