Dear Parents,
With the holiday season in full swing, we always like to take a moment to to help others. This month we will be focusing on helping families who use the resources of the 6th Street Shelter. We will be collecting various household items, paper products and other goods to provide for families in need. This is an opportunity for us to teach the children about giving to others and being a helpful member of the community.
Also, this month we will continue with our mystery reader program. We would like to invite all of our families to our winter celebration later in the month as well. The children put on a show and families have a chance to make a craft with their child. It is a fun time to have and we look forward to seeing everyone there!
Finally, please ensure your child has weather appropriate clothing in his/her cubby and remember to sign your child in and out daily using the iPad in the lobby.
As a reminder:
* We are a peanut free school.
* If your child is sick, we will adhere to our sick policy.
* Please make sure to check your child’s cubby and/or mailbox for important information.
I hope you have a fun and safe month!
Sincerely,
Michele Somishka
