Happy New Year!
What a wonderful year this has been. Our school continues to grow and for that I say thank you for spreading the word! It is because of you and your experiences here at school that we are adding new friends each and every day. We had so many exciting things throughout this year I can’t wait to share what’s happening next year.
We had Dental Health month, recycling reminders, and all about me. While keeping the focus on what’s most important we opened the awareness to the children about the importance of being healthy. You may have noticed more wholesome items on our menus as well. This was a great time for the children to share some healthy habits with their classmates as well as you the parent.
We also celebrated Acts of kindness month where we collected baby items for less fortunate families, went to Build -A- Bear to make Bears for children in CHOP over the Holidays, and made cards for a local retirement home. It was such a rewarding few months for our children to learn about giving back and then to be so willing to give to others.
As the month’s went on we broadened our learning by adding more hands on experiences for the children. We focused on introduction of textures, elements, and the environment. The children were so excited to be immersed in learning and the new things they discovered.
We have enjoyed the activities of this school year and look forward to what is to come. Look below for important reminders and things to come.
