A Note From Our Principal,
We loved celebrating Week of the Young Child and Earth Day with our students and families! Our classrooms continue to learn about insects, plants, ecology and making art from recycled materials. For Earth Day students in Pre-K, Pre-K 2 and Kindergarten helped plant a new tree outside our Main Office. On May 2nd we will be releasing 3,000 ladybugs into our school garden. To prepare for the release students in Pre-K made ladybug headbands.
This month we are busy supporting all of our students as they prepare to wrap up the academic school year. As part of our school age curriculum, our students are working together to get the barn ready for summer camp. Planning for activities as a team helps school age children develop independence and leadership skills. Feel free to stop by the barn and say hello!
Sincerely,
Amanda Canfield
