Message from the Principal
Time sure does fly when you’re having fun, and we are certainly having a fun summer here at Chesterbrook Academy – Wayne.
We have enjoyed our splash days, swimming days, and both in house visits and field trips. The children have taken part in color war challenges, classroom experiments and activities to keep them excited and engaged.
As we jump into July the fun has only just begun! Our teachers have started working on summer adventure books that will capture all the fun and excitement of our days here at camp. We have much more planned for your child to develop, grow and learn new things each day.
Our plan is to have the children outdoors each day as long as the weather permits us to do so. Keep in mind that we need your help to make sure we are able to get out as soon as possible in the mornings. With that said, see below for important reminders.
Reminders:
- Sunscreen should be applied daily in the mornings prior to coming to school.
- No open toe shoes are to be worn to school, unless it is swim/splash day and the children have sneakers for regular activity.
- Water bottles or sippy cups for the younger children should be provided daily.
- Two changes of clothes in your child’s cubby space.
Important Dates:
- July 4th School Closed for Independence day
- July 6th Travel Camp field trip to Busy Bees Pottery
- July 11th Slip -N- Slide
- July 18th Kona Ice truck visit
- July 26th The Hat Man visits
- July 27th We’ve got mail to deliver
Thank you for being part of our Chesterbrook Wayne family. We appreciate you!
