Where did July go? With a month filled with many great shows and camp activities, I am grateful for your support of our Kids Helping Kids campaign. Our school raised more than $300 for Special Olympics of Chester County. We are lucky to have you all as part of our school community!
As we continue to be a part of the community, visit us at the Goshen Fair. Each night, various teachers and administrative team members will be there doing fun games and handing out Chesterbrook Academy items. Please share for friends to visit us, too.
Though we still have this month left for our fun summer camp, we are working diligently to get our students and teachers ready for a new school year. Many of our students will be moving classrooms this month, and you may stop by and talk to any of us to make for a smooth transition. Details regarding the new teachers and classroom schedules will be shared with those who are impacted.
A great opportunity to meet new teachers as well as tenured staff is to visit us on Friday, August 10 at 10:00 a.m. for the Kona Ice Truck. This is a great treat for our students, and we invite families to join us, too.
Enjoying summer out of town? Be sure to notify us of your intentions so that schedules and billing can be properly reflected. Using your vacation week credit? Be sure to notify us of that as well. Only one week of credit can be granted during a school year which runs from July 1 to June 30.
We hope you enjoy the rest of summer. It will be a busy month of transition and preparations for all!
Other important dates:
Open House – Saturday, August 4 from 10:00 to 1:00. Let us know if you have a new family friend for us. You can earn a week’s tuition for the referral.
School closed – Monday, September 3, 2018
Activities to starting back in the Fall:
Makin Music will start back on September 10th
Yoga will start back the week of September 10th
Karate will start again on September 12th
Lil Sports will start begin on September 14th, and will be doing a demo on September 5th
Lil Dance will start for a 7 wk. program/2-month session. With a demo on September 10th, and start the week of September 17th.
There will be flyers and signup sheets for all of these activities, as soon as we get them, and any other
