From The Desk of The Principal
Thank you all for your participation in our Halloween Parade! We had a wonderful turnout and the children looked super cute in their costumes. We had a special visit from Chester Cheetah who was the leader of our parade, and marched all around the campus. Please let us know if you have any questions, concerns or need additional care/schedule changes during this time of year.
Our school as you may know is in the beginning stages of NAEYC accreditation. We are excited to begin this journey, and look forward to celebrating our successful completion early next year. We thank you all for being so flexible with the changes that have taken place and as always for your continued support.
Just a reminder we will be closed on November 6th, for our Staff In-Service Day. This is a great day for our teachers to meet with other teachers within our District and share their experiences., The teachers will also be trained on the newest Educational aspects our Education Department implements within our program.
We will also be closed on Thursday November 22, 2018 to Observe Thanksgiving Day. Please notate on your child’s classroom door if they will be here the day before and after Thanksgiving. Our teachers would like to take time off and we are unable to provide this to them until we have accurate child counts, so we can maintain the classroom ratios.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Tracy Anderson
Principal
Parent Information
After enrolling at our school all parents receive an email from Alma, our online family management system. Alma allows you to pay your tuition, manage who is able to pick up your child and keep your contact information up to date in our system. Please make sure that your information is up to date in Alma. If you need access to the account feel free to see any member of the Management team. We will be closed on Thursday, November 22nd for Thanksgiving. Children in our School-Age program are welcome to stay with us the week of the 19th as the public schools we support have various schedules for closure. We have fun fall events planned for each day and love having our older students spend extra time with us during Thanksgiving week. Please reach out to us if your child will be attending so we can staff accordingly.
We love celebrating Thanksgiving with our students so that we can share how much they mean to us and how much we all mean to each other. Our classes will be learning about Thanksgiving all month and will be making decorations to celebrate the season. On Tuesday, November 20th we are making a special turkey lunch for our students. Some classes are collecting small extras for the Thanksgiving lunch, please check with your child’s teacher for more information.
