November Newsletter

Happy November and a full month of giving thanks for so many great things.

First, let me thank you for a fun-filled October with many great highlights.  We had our West Goshen Police friends visit us on community helper day and visit again to help keep us safe on Halloween.  A special thank you to all parents for attending our annual Halloween parade!  What a fun-filled day.

Crisp days are here to stay.  Please be sure your child has seasonal and appropriate sized clothing.  Jackets are important as well because we don’t want to miss any outside fun. It is also the beginning of cold and flu season.  Every child’s safety is important to us.  We ask that you refresh yourself of our sickness policies to ensure all children are safe.

As we give thanks in November, please send in a family picture with your child.  Teachers will be using these pictures for display and education in the classroom.  We are thankful for all our Chesterbrook families, and we ask that you spread the word to invite others to our Open House on Saturday, November 10.  Remember, you receive a free week’s tuition for any referrals!

School will be closed on Monday, November 12 for teacher development and on Thursday, November 22 to honor Thanksgiving.  If you are altering your school hours during the week of Thanksgiving, please let our Administrative Team (Nina and Jen) know your schedule.  This will allow us to properly plan staffing.

Thanksgiving week will also be a chance to meet with your child’s teacher for a conference.  If you desire a meeting to review your child’s progress, please let your teacher know.

With thanks for all you do!

Donna Mugler, Principal
