December Newsletter

Ho! Ho! Ho! and Happy December!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family and fun. As the winter holidays are upon us, we have many special events planned for students and families. In addition, it is also the time for inclement weather. Please be sure to tune into 6ABC or watch your email for weather updates as we do not follow the public school schedule.

Our lobby library has been a great success. Thank you for the many donations of books so that all may enjoy the love of literacy. Feel free to borrow a book and return when finished.

I am in awe of the generous gifts for our Pathways family. Our administrative team will be delivering those this week. Please return your wrapped gift asap if you have not yet done so. Stay tuned for information about our “Secret Holiday Shop”. Students will have the chance to purchase low cost gifts for loved ones.

Our students will be busy making fun projects this month to learn about many holiday celebrations. Of course, a favorite part of any holiday, is spending it with family. Please continue to send family pictures for use in your class projects and centers.

Although the brisk days are here to stay, we do try to go outside for SPARK (sports, play, and active recreations for kids) provided temperatures are above 32 degrees. Please be sure your child has seasonal and appropriate sized clothing.

School will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th and Tuesday, January 1st. We will also be closing early at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 24th, 2018. If you are altering your school hours during the week between Christmas and New Year, please let our Administrative Team (Nina and Jen) know your schedule. This will allow us to properly plan staffing.

With thanks for all you do!
