Dear Parents,
Spring is here at last! Hopefully all of the cold winter weather is behind us. We are all looking forward to warm days filled with sunshine and outside time!
April will be a busy month. We have a lot of fun events planned. We are introducing Soccer Shot program which will begin April 3rd.
We will be celebrating the Week of the Young Child and releasing 2000 ladybugs, planting seeds and learning about Recycle to celebrate Earth Day. We will also celebrate Parent Appreciation Week followed by Teacher Appreciation Week this month.
One of our favorite things to do in Spring is to study the life cycle of butterflies and to grow caterpillars and release the butterflies. Toddlers and up will be participating in the butterflies project in their classrooms. The children really get excited by this magical transformations so at pick up and drop off time, check out the butterfly gardens in your child’s classroom.
The spring also brings many activities here at school. Be sure to keep an eye out for information for the many upcoming events.
Kindly check your child’s cubby for weather appropriate change of clothes.
Have a great month!
Educationally yours,
Rukina Contractor
