Spring is in the air!!!
This month we will celebrate EARTH Day! Our Earth day celebrations will begin April 22th. This year we will release ladybugs and plant our very own gardens at our school playground. We would like the entire school to show love to the ladybugs they day by dressing in red and black. Planting gardens is an amazing activity to do with children. The sensory experience of touching soil, scooping dirt and pouring the water, are all great for sensory development. The act of planting and tending to the garden also increases empathy, as children are caring for something on their own. The act of watching something grow and change is magical for children. If you are interested in contributing plants, please see the front office.
April also the month of “The Week of the Young Child.” We have a week of fun activities planned as we celebrate growth and development for preschool children everywhere.
We would like to thank you for registering during our Early Bird Registration period. We are looking forward to the new school year. If you haven’t done it already, please register. It is open now to the public and space is very limited.
Our team is working on summer camp information! We will be adding some final touches to the calendar over the next couple days. We hope to have the summer camp calendar, sunscreen forms, and water play permission slips out to you by the end of this month. let us know your summer plans and/or any vacations you may be having so we can make staffing arrangements for the summer. Please reach out if you have any questions we are always available to help you.
