From the Principal’s Office
Many of our families have taken advantage of the 50% off the registration fee for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have not registered for fall and your child will be attending please let us know as soon as possible so we do not give your spot away to new families.
Summer camp registration forms went out as well, please turn the form and fee back in no later than April 26 to reserve your child’s spot for summer camp.
Next week we will celebrate the children for the Week of the Young Child, April 8-12. We have special activities planned for each day of the week.
Monday – Touch a truck day – we will have a police officer stop by with their squad car for the children to go out and look at in the morning and then a tractor from Parkland College coming in the afternoon.
Tuesday – Color Wars and Make it take it snack! – Infants wear blue, toddlers wear green, beginners wear yellow, intermediate wear red, pre-k wear black and school age wear pink.
Wednesday – Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles – we will have some fun and different bubble play throughout the day!
Thursday – Artsy Day! – Each classroom will have a special art activity they will be working on.
Friday – Plant something special with mom and dad – at pick up you will be able to plant a seed with your child to take home and watch it grow!
With the weather warming up the kids will be going outside twice a day. They may get a little dirty so please make sure they come to school in “play clothes and shoes”. Also, a coat and hat in case it is still a little chilly out in the mornings.
Happy April,
Heidi and Rachel
