A Note From The Principal
Thank you all for helping our school celebrate Earth Day last month. Together students at our school released more the 3,000 ladybugs back into nature. The day was filled with exciting activities that also focused on Earth Day, which included recycling, and what children can do to keep our Earth healthy. Celebrating Earth Day provides our teachers with many opportunities to relate science, math and literacy concepts to everyday life. The children had various types of bug and insect dress up that they created in their class, and they learned about the life cycles of many kinds of bugs. We watched ants carry food back to their any hill, and saw a bird with dry grass in his mouth resting on our fence.
As we move into May, we are getting our classrooms ready for a summer of additional enrichment for our preschool students and summer camp for our school-age students. We are wrapping up all of the knowledge that we gained this school year and looking forward to the challenges to come! Although summer is a time of in house visits of puppet shows, Magic shows, and of course the Water Ice truck we still have a strong emphasis on learning, growth and development. Through Science, Music and Movement, Creative Expression and so much more your child is on their way to a new and exciting next stage.
Stay tuned for all the adventure and engagement your child will experience!
Sincerely,
Tracy Anderson

Teacher Appreciation Week
We are super excited to celebrate our teachers this year during Teacher Appreciation Week! This year it falls on May 6th through the 10th, and we have many neat treats planned for our teachers. We are sure that you would like to celebrate your child’s teacher as well. On Monday the 6th of May we will have a “Wall of Appreciation,” we are asking that you take a moment and leave a message for your child’s teacher on the wall. It will be posted right in the main entrance for all to see! Paper and pens will be at the front by the sign in IPADS all that week, but we really want to show our thanks on Monday.
Our teachers are so dedicated and committed to providing a fun learning environment for your child, and this is a great way to just say thanks!
Join us in this time of celebration!
