From the Principal’s Office
Thank you to everyone who participated in teacher appreciation week, everything was great and you parents are wonderful! Also, I hope all of our Pre-K students and families had a good time at graduation, I can’t believe this school year is almost over and you will be moving on to Kindergarten soon.
We will start making the shift from school year to summer activities during the next few weeks. The teachers are working on parent reports, if you would like to have a conference with your child’s teacher please let us know and we can help you get that schedules.
Summer camp begins on June 3rd, the teachers will be getting supply lists and camp calendars to you prior to the start of camp. Your child will need swimsuit, towel, swim diapers (2’s and under), water bottle, sunscreen, sunscreen form, signed permission slips for Pre-K and School Age field trips. If you have not paid your child’s summer camp fee it will be charged to your account and needs to be paid as soon as possible.
We will be celebrating Father’s Day for all the dads on Friday, June 14th at 3:30pm, please mark your calendars.
Remember our new tuition increase will be effective July 1, 2019. If you are not sure what your new payment amount should be please stop by the office.
Here’s to a great summer camp,
Heidi and Rachel

If you have not heard already we have had some teachers leave, Ms. Sherry and Ms. Beth, and we have a couple new teachers join us Ms. Natalie who is working in the Infant 1 and 2 classrooms and Ms. Callie who has been working in the Toddler and Infant 3 classrooms.
Families have until June 24th to use their vacation credit for the 2018-2019 year. If you aren’t sure if you have used your free vacation week yet, we can look it up for you.
Chesterbrook Academy strongly discourages the children from wearing open toes shoes at school. Sandals and flip flops do not provide the support and protection needed when the children are playing on the playground, going for walks or at the park. The children can wear flip flops and sandals for water play.
