From the Principal’s Desk…
The holidays are a very special time here at Chesterbrook Academy in Cooper City! It’s a special time because we come together as a school to serve our community, model kindness, read books and have discussions around what we are thankful for in our lives. Our November calendar events invite families to spend time with their children through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and annual school events. Parents will receive their child’s parent report on November 8th. Teacher are available for Parent-Teacher Conference (per parent’s request) the week of Nov. 18-22. A sign-up sheet will be posted on each classroom door for the parents to request a conference. The parents will have a week prior to review their child’s parent report, classroom observations, and portfolio to formulate any questions to ask during their conference this will provide open communication between teachers and parents. Chesterbrook Academy has an open-door policy for parents, giving families the ability to speak to an administrator, a teacher, or visit their child at their convenience. On Saturday, November 16, 2018, I invite you to visit us during our annual fall open house to tour our school, learn more about our curriculum, and how we provide the perfect balance of learning and play through our balanced daily schedules, amazing teaching staff and so much more.
