From the Desk of the Principal:
Happy New Year!
Another year has passed and we have been so busy at school. With our new friends that started, to our fundraisers, ancillary programs and more we are exhausted! The teachers have put a fun spin on learning, and the students are completely enjoying themselves. We started the year welcoming new friends and saying welcome back to some old friends as well. We had class move ups, sibling births and our school continues to grow. We are so grateful to all of the families that have been with us throughout this year, and we are super ready for all the adventures to come in the new year. Our holiday class celebrations were so much fun, and the sing a longs enjoyable to watch. I would like to take a moment to thank each family that shared a gift, card, or yummy treat during the holiday. My heart was warmed each day looking at all the cards on the office wall. Thank you for sharing your family holiday photos and for all the joy it gave everyone looking at them. Be sure to take a moment to look back and recap all that took place in 2019. Time moves so fast we have to make sure to savor the little passing moments.
Important Dates:
- January 1st School is closed Happy New Year
- January 6th Winter Season of Soccer Shots begins
- January 20th Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday
Reminders:
- We will continue to go outdoors as long as weather permits, so be sure your child has the proper outdoor attire. We attempt to get outside twice a day and would like to continue this before the weather gets too cold so it would help if your child wore their coat and hat to school. Mittens or gloves are good to send in as well.
- Also make sure you are keeping your child’s cubby space stocked with extra changes of clothes. This includes socks, shoes, and under garments, and is for students in Infants through Kindergarten.
- If paperwork has been sent home for you to fill out please return it promptly. This is a state requirement for enrollment of your child in our school, and to keep their file complete. If you need copies of the forms that were sent home please stop by the office.
- If you could use a bit of after holiday cash refer a family to our school, and once that family has enrolled you can receive a free week of tuition for your child that is enrolled with us. Space is limited in our classes, but thank you for those of you who have shared with your friends all of your great experiences. Feel free to stop by the office for details.
