This year has been off to a great start. The children are learning so many new things and coming out of their shells to show everyone who enters their rooms just how proud they are of what they can now do. It is so exciting to see, and I couldn’t be prouder of all of the accomplishments our children and teachers are making. Take a minute to look at the process boards and projects in each of the rooms. They tell a wonderful story of what your child is learning.
The month of February is filled with fun and excitement beginning with the big question-“Will Phil see his shadow?” The children will want to know, so keep your eyes and ears open on Sunday, February 2nd for what our Pennsylvania weather forecaster predicts.
Of course February is the host month for Valentine’s Day which is another fun holiday for the children. While they keep busy practicing how to write their names to those cute cards, they are also learning about love and kindness and sharing. They will also be learning about safety and wellness as February is also the month of Dental and Heart Health. The fresh apples in the lobby are a good choice to satisfy both, so please enjoy.
Just as a reminder, our school will be closed on Monday, February 17th for our Teacher In-Service Day.
