From the Principal’s Desk…
Happy July! We are officially enjoying summer here at Chesterbrook Academy in Cooper City! Summer camp adventures and explorations are always connecting children back to the weekly theme and developing skills through play. We have transitioned some of our young learners to the next stage of growth and development. In due time, we will be ready for back to school, as we prepare to welcome new children and families to another school year serving the Cooper City community.
We are planning to have a Zoom Orientation Event for the new families to go over school policies, VPK rules and regulations and much more. An email will be sent home during the first week of August with all the details and time.
Every year during the month of July we have a Kids Helping Communities service project during the week of July 19-23. The past two years we have hosted Alex’s Lemonade Stand. This year do the pandemic we have decide to be part of ChildNet. This wonderful organization accepts donations for Broward and Palm Beach counties’ children in foster care. We will be collecting items such as underwear, socks, sneakers, toiletries as well as school supplies (backpacks, pens, notebooks, binders, markers). More details and information how to and where to go will be communicated soon.
I invite you to schedule a virtual tour today or give us a call to learn more about our school!
