From the Principal’s Office
There are some new practices that we have put forth in the building since reopening. We appreciate everyone for being so understanding and helping the children get acclimated to their new “right now” normal. While some things have changed, we will still keep the learning and all the communication that goes along with it in place. Fun photos, daily reports and Links to Learning folders will still be received as expected.
The fun of summer activities are almost over and the children are getting ready to move on to the new school year of fun, learning new skills and taking part in lots of new experiences. We are all ready to get back into a somewhat normal routine and structure of the school year. We wish all of the children, parents and teachers a very successful beginning of the 2020-2021 school year!
We are currently running under the hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. We are hoping to return back to normal hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm right after Labor Day. We will keep everyone posted on these changes.
Let’s have a safe and fun start to the new school year.

For Parents and Teachers
We have scheduled a Back to School Spirit Week for August 24th-28th . We will have special dress ups and activities for each day of the week. We are still working out the details of what we would like to do each day so we will send out information once details are finalized. Watch your inbox for an email prior to the 24th. We hope everyone joins in on the fun of welcoming the 2020-2021 school year!
For Parents
We are making sure that your children are getting signed in out each day using the parent pins dedicated to your child/children. We sign them in when they enter the building each morning and sign them out as we bring them out to the front of the school for pick up. Any questions, please be sure to let us know.
With the shift moving into the end of summer to fall, it is a perfect time for the teachers to go through your child’s cubby and clear out the miscellaneous papers that have collected and to make sure there is a change of clothes. We never know when an accident might happen and someone will need to change clothes. We try to keep some extra clothes in the classrooms, but we often don’t have the right size or article of clothing needed. The teachers will communicate through Links to Home on what items your child may be missing to update their cubby. Thank you for your help with this!
Reminders
Please make sure that you are parking in the spots with a cone at the front. We are trying to make sure that we maintain social distancing.
Please make sure that your child has their mask and nap items with them each day at drop off. We will make sure to send their bag home with them at the end of day.
You can use the Links2Home App to send messages to the school to let the teachers know your child will be absent, if there are changes to the days schedule or if there is information you would like to share.
