Happy September!
I can hardly believe the summer is coming to a close and it is almost the Fall season, my favorite season of all. I love cozy sweaters, cool nights by the fire and colorful leaves.
This month we said farewell to some of our Kindergarten friends, and although it was so sad to see them go, we know they are going to fabulous in Kindergarten. We wish them all the best of luck! We celebrated with picnics and a social distanced graduation.
Our summer has been great, but we can’t wait to start our new school year. September 8 starts our official first day of school. We are so excited to begin our new school year together. We will kick off our first day of school with a special ready of Miss Tanya’s favorite story; The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. This is a cute story that is about a little racoon heading off to his first day of school.
We will be continuing to provide virtual tours during the next few months for our new families interested in joining our College Hill family, as well as our returning families. We have missed you all so much and are so excited to see everyone.
We have also introduced our new “Club Connect” program to support our school age friends who are experiencing virtual only learning or modified schedules to start off their school year. Please give us a call if you are interested in more information.
Please reach out with any questions, we are looking forward to a wonderful first month of school.
Holiday Closures
Our school does not follow the local elementary school schedule as we are open more days per year. For the 2020-2021 school year the days we are closed are:

Fall Cubby Refresh
It’s finally starting to get cooler and we are planning extra outdoor time to take full advantage of the fall season. Please make sure your child has a weather appropriate change of clothes in their cubby and outerwear when applicable. Although it is starting to get cooler, we will still be applying sunscreen. In addition, if you would like bug spray to be applied please let us know and we will provide you with the paperwork.
Security/Car line Reminders
For everyone’s health and safety we ask that during the drop off and pick up procedure you stay in your car until a teacher calls you to the health check station or brings your little one to you. In addition, be sure that when coming to the health check in station you are wearing your mask. Please pull your car up to the stop sign to provide space in line.
