Happy October!
Many fun days are planned for October, please be sure to check the activity calendar on our website. Highlighted activity will be our Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Parents will vote virtually for the winners. Unfortunately, due to Covid our local fire departments are not coming to any public education events this season. We plan on doing a small lesson on fire prevention in individual classrooms. Lifetouch Portraits will be held on Wednesday, October 21st. There will be safety precautions put into place to make photos safe for children as well as the photographer. At the end of October, we will host a Halloween Parade for our children here at the school. Unfortunately our AAA Trick or Treat walk will need to wait until next year to keep our little ones safe from germs.
As cooler weather is upon us, please be sure to bring jackets and a change of seasonal clothing for your child. We will send home summer clothes and sunscreen in the next week or two. Bedding will continue to be sent home each Friday, please return washed bedding on Monday.
Our classrooms are in full swing of learning and digging deep into various developmental skills. Teachers are gathering observations and will start working on the first Parent Report by the end of October. Our Club Connect students are succeeding at mastering the art of Virtual Learning with our Club Connect classroom.
Thank you to all parents who have supported us by keeping your children healthy and keeping them home if they are not feeling well. Our health screening, hand washing, cleaning and sanitizing have been successful with mitigating the spread of germs.
Thank you again for allowing us to care and teach your children!
Kindest Regards, Wendy Musser, Principal
