October Newsletter

From the Principal’s Office

Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time and seasonal curriculum activities. We are planning a few fun fall themed activities for our students this month and are excited to share photos with you all through Links 2 Home.

Our teachers have been working very hard on the children’s parent reports.  We will be planning on holding conferences via Zoom calls the week of October 26th.  We will be sending out more information on signing up for meetings at a later date.  If you have any questions about the reports please feel free to ask.

We are trying to make some plans to celebrate Halloween.  We know that this is something the children always love to participate in.  We will send out information soon on what our plans are.  We will be asking if any parents would like to donate items for parties or a trunk or treat.

We have some reminders below that we ask for everyone to please read through.  We want to make sure to be making the most of our time together this month.

If you have any questions, the front office is available from 7:00am-5:30pm.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

Until next month, Shawna and Jen

For Parents and Teachers

The approaching change of season means an increased possibility of outdoor play!  Please be sure your child is dressed appropriately for outside play each day.  The mornings may indicate the need for hats and gloves, but the afternoons may be warm enough not to need them.  We monitor the weather daily and do go out if the “feels like” temperature is 32⁰ or higher.  The children do not stay out as long at a time when the temperature is closer to 32⁰, but they do go out.

For Parents

Please remember about our ACH program.  This automatic payment program makes paying for tuition easier than ever.  Payments will be drawn from your bank account early on the Tuesday following the invoice.  If you have any questions about our ACH payment method, please stop by the office or email us.

Heading out of town for a vacation?  Be sure to let us know if you would like to use your vacation credit for the week.  Families earn one week of free tuition per year and are eligible after six months of enrollment.

Reminders

  • The children will still be going outside as the weather cools down…please make sure they are dressed for outside play and have appropriate clothing in their cubby.
  • We encourage parents not to allow their children to bring outside food into the building except for special events. We have children with severe food allergies and we don’t want to experience an emergency because of an accidental allergic reaction.
  • Parents need to make sure they are parking in the cone parking spots in the parking lot.  This is helping with social distancing.  We also ask that everyone wears a mask when they are dropping off or picking up their child/children.
  • Information for Consumer Product Safety Recalls: Website – cpsc.gov/en/recalls or Mobile app – RECALLS.GOV
