From the Principal’s Desk…
December is a special month for us here at Chesterbrook Academy in Cooper City. We really take joy in creating family traditions together and sharing those special moments and memories. Our calendar is full of opportunities for us to enjoy holiday cheer! Family traditions lend a certain spirit that nurtures the connection we share here at our school, giving us a sense of belonging and helping us celebrate year over year of good times with each other. More importantly, traditions create positive memories for children and at the end of the day the positive memories are what we carry in our hearts!
What are your family traditions? Have you created new ones with your own family? If so, please share them with us! The more we learn…the more we grow! Big thank you to all the students the participated in our annual Operations Christmas Child, we collected 50 shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. The boxes are ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
Happy Holidays,
Mrs. Vivian Robles – Principal
Ms. Yoy Kure – Assistant Principal
