Happy May!
This time of the year can be very exciting for some and for others can be a stressful time as we count down the days left in the school year before Summer starts! For the Chesterbrook Academy staff, we look forward to continue working with the children to learn and grow each and every day. Although we will note that the kids have loved the outside time and it can sometimes be a struggle to get everyone in from the beautiful weather we have had.
The month of May is an exciting time as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! The teachers at Estelle Drive have been working so hard each day to ensure the safety and well being of each child is being taken care of while also helping each child grow and prepare to move up to the next class in the Fall. If you haven’t sent in a special message for your classroom’s child, you can email it to Zach!
Summer is just around the corner and we will be getting prepped with the fun activities that will be happening all summer long. More information will be coming out near the end of May regarding the themes and fun activities including water day and ice cream truck!
Some friendly reminders:
– Please start sending in sunscreen, that is labeled with your child’s name, in for teachers to apply before going outside on sunny days!
– If sending in a water bottle, please ensure you are only sending in water. The water bottle needs to be labeled with your child’s name.
– Teachers are going to be going through cubbies and sending home any clothing that might not be weather appropriate anymore. Please make sure to send in appropriate clothing for the change in weather!
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.
