A Note From Our Principal
Thank you all for helping our school celebrate Earth Day. Together, students at our school learned all about ladybugs; did you know that they hibernate? We created ladybug rocks for our gardens, made ladybug creatures, tasted yummy ladybug treats, and dressed in red and black to release our ladybugs on Earth Day. Our PreK friends had a musical march, and our Toddler and Beginner friends zoomed in their mommy’s and daddy’s. Our ladybug friends were not happy about the colder weather, but we managed to get some of them to fly away. Celebrating Earth Day provided our teachers with many opportunities to relate science, math and literacy concepts to everyday life. As we move into May, we are getting our classrooms ready for a summer of additional enrichment. We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your children! Please remember, if you will be making changes to your schedule for the summer let the office know.

Teacher Appreciation Week
We love our teachers! Check out these great activities we have to celebrate them the week of May 3rd!
Monday- bring your teacher a flower
Tuesday-bring your teacher their favorite snack
Wednesday- have your little one draw a picture for their teacher
Thursday- bring your teacher their favorite drink
Friday- bring your teacher their favorite school supply
Our teachers will receive little surprises each day to celebrate how amazing they are, lining the school with quotes and a special surprise at the end of the week. Families, please have your child color a STAR to hand under our display “Our Teachers are STARS!”
Pre-K Graduation
Our students have been working hard on songs, artwork, and selected readings to share with you. We will celebrate the accomplishments of our Pre-K students with safety as our guide. Pre-K teachers will be sending more information home shortly for graduation event that will take place in June.
Book Fair
Our very first virtual book fair will take place May 4- May 14. If you would like to learn how to donate books to your child’s classroom, please let us know.
