SAFETY
When we walk through the doors of Chesterbrook Academy each day, the safety of our students and staff remain our top priority.
With the recent trajedy that happened in Texas hitting so close to home, we wanted to share a few additions to our everyday safety practices.
- We will be partnering with the local Police Department starting immediately as they patrol the area. A police officer will have a quick daily visit to our property, ensure all is well with a member of the adminstration team, and be on their way. Not only will this increase the level of secuirty, but it will also help our students to become familiar with a community helper, increaing their level of comfort when seeing them stop by.
- All staff vehicles on the property will have a hanging green parking permit in the front window starting this week. If you are to ever see a car that you do not recognize or that seems suspicious in any way, a quick look at the window could be helpful before reporting anything to the administration.
I will also incude a PDF of our school emergency plan in this newsletter. If you have any questions please reach out and let me know!
