December Newsletter

A Note From Our PrincipalThe holiday season is a time to celebrate community, diversity, and the universal joy of giving. We can hardly believe that this year is almost over and we will be beginning 2023 together.  During the month of November we created turkeys to share how grateful we are for our teachers, had many families come in and read to our classrooms, shared a Thanksgiving meal with our families and had conferences.  This time of year always reminds us how grateful we are for our wonderful College Hill family.

Kids Helping Kids
Our Kids Helping Kids initiative was implemented last month and carried out during our local event Extraordinary Give in Lancaster.  Together we honored and supported non profit organizations in Lancaster Pa who have touched our lives in some way.  We were so excited to be able to support so many wonderful programs that effected our families on a personal level.  We raised the funds with a penny war and the classroom that raised the most funds received a pizza party.

Pizza! Pizza!  Little Caesars
This month we are participating in a Little Caesar’s pizzas.  The final order date for pizza’s is December 16.
Cubby Refresh
Please make sure to refresh the spare clothing in your child’s cubby. Take home anything that no longer fits and leave a spare set of well-fitting, weather-appropriate clothes, including a winter hat and gloves.
