Dear Families,
Happy February! The new year is off to a wonderful start, and we’re excited for what’s to come. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we’re looking forward to celebrating love, friendship, and kindness with your little ones through fun and meaningful activities! February is Black History Month. It is a time to honor the culture, accomplishments, and important contributions of African Americans. We’ll be celebrating in the classroom by reading books, making arts and crafts, and continuing our discussion on acceptance and belonging. By the last week of February, parents whose children have been with us since the beginning of the school year should expect to receive a parent progress report. This form of lead teacher communication will provide you with a detailed account of how your child is progressing in all areas of development. Assessments also assist teachers in adjusting the level of instruction to meet individual needs. If you are new to Chesterbrook Academy, the next parent report will be sent home in May, right before the summer curriculum. As always, it is an honor to work with and watch your children grow. Thank you for choosing our preschool for your family.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Marseille
