A Note from Our Principal
Summer has come to an end and another school year is upon us. We’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new families, and a sincere thank you to returning families and those that chose to spend their summer with us. We enjoyed making memories with your children and are looking forward to spending another year together with you and your children!
We recognize that this is a busy time for many families and are using this month’s school newsletter to include reminders on school closures, communication, security and more. Please read through this newsletter carefully, and let us know if you have any questions or concerns. As always, our administrative team is here to answer any questions you may have.
Warm regards,
Lisa Delaney
Principal

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedure
The new school year is approaching and we are welcoming more new and returning families over the next two weeks. We want to take a moment to review our Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures to ensure a safe and smooth transition for you and your child both coming and leaving school!
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedure
All families are to enter through the Energy Transfer (Formerly Sunoco Logistics) driveway. Proceed around the back of our building, and enter our parking lot at the first opening.
Please DO NOT park your car in a parking spot. We are only using the bus loop for Drop-off and Pick-up!
We will be ready to greet you and your child for drop-off between 7:30 and 9:00 each day. If you need to drop off after 9:00, please call the school and we will come out to greet you!
- We will conduct a brief Health Check of your child at Drop-off.
- A brief symptom questionnaire will be completed and temperature checks using an Infrared Forehead Thermometer will be taken at our Health Check Station in the parking lot before bringing children into the building.
At Pick-up Time, please call the school when you arrive and we will escort your child to you. Please remain in the car line to ease the flow of traffic.
Please DO NOT enter from the driveway leading directly to our parking lot. This entrance is for Chesterbrook and Equus employees only at this time.
Back to School Night
While we are not able to host our Annual Back to School Night in person this year, we are excited to host a virtual Back to School Night on Zoom – straight from your child’s classroom!
Zoom Meeting
Thursday, September 10th at 5:30 pm
Our teachers will be on-site to speak with you regarding your child’s classroom routine and highlights of our programs for the 2020-21 school year! This is a wonderful opportunity for a peek into the classroom and a chance for our teachers and families to connect! Families are highly encouraged to attend.
Love our school? Leave us a review!
In today’s connected world, many families turn to online reviews to learn more about schools for their children. That is why we are asking you to take a few minutes to visit our school profile on Yelp, Google or GreatSchools to share the wonderful experiences you have had with our school. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
