A Note From Our Principal
Fall is in full swing and our students are enjoying the extra outdoor time, nature walks and seasonal curriculum activities. We are planning a few fun fall themed activities for our students this month and are excited to share photos with you all through Links 2 Home. We have been having so much fun with the beginning of Fall. The students have been outside exploring the changing colors of the trees, and looking for signs of fall on our playground. We collected leaves sticks, pine cones and a few other items to make a fall collage. The students had the opportunity to name the items they were going to look for and head outdoors to find them. It was so neat to see the excitement when they found an item they named and it made the collage making so fun.
Thank you for all the creative pick up and drop off ideas that have been shared. We look forward to selecting one and making a fun announcement, stay tuned! Thank you for all of your patience as we work to get your child out to you as quickly as possible in the afternoons. Feel free to call the school anytime to spake with your child’s teacher for updates about the day.
Our classrooms will be celebrating Halloween by doing crafts and playing outdoor games with their classmates on October 30th. We know that families and staff typically look forward to class parties and the parade because they allow us to be together as a school community and give parents an opportunity to get to know their child’s classmates and parents. We are still planning to have the class party and are looking into creative ways to make the day fun for your little ones. The annual parade will not be happening but we are looking forward to making a portable pumpkin patch, a fall photo shoot and much more. Keep your eyes and ears alert for these soon to come updates.
Sincerely,
Tracy
