About the teacher…

I have been a member of the Chesterbrook family since June of 2006. Since then, I have taught Pre-K, 1st grade, and 3rd grade! This is my 2nd year in 4th grade.

I am also the Summer Camp Director, After Care coordinator and Vanguard Teacher. I am a lifelong learner, earning my Apple Teacher distinction, Seesaw Ambassador recognition and Class Dojo Ambassador recognition. I am a proud Penn State grad with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I received my teaching certificate in the graduate program at West Chester University. I have two boys, Connor (8th grade) and Kellan (5th grade).

Our classroom is one where students are active participants in their own learning. I will encourage independence and self-discovery while remaining a constant source of support and encouragement for my students. We will work together to explore new ideas using technology and collaboration.
