Students this month will continue to focus on Hispanic Heritage month and also our Day of the Dead projects which we will celebrate on November 1st.
In the last month,
Pre-k practiced their letters along with the letters that they did with their teachers.
Kindergarten learned about Mexico, read some books, and made homemade quesadillas and salsa.
1st grade did some review and started to work on their body parts. They will team up with Mr. B and learn their bones also for a Day of the Dead project.
2nd grade did some review and started to work on classroom objects. They have completed guides and are working on making their own study cards using Keynote.
3rd grade reviewed and just started their food unit which includes making a menu, skit, and going on a field trip to a Mexican restaurant.
4th grade continued to be focused their Spanish even after the summer. They made awesome flag presentations on keynote which will get them started on their country projects.
5th grade has done some review and started learning about different grammar points. They just completed a collaborative project with Ms. Moser and made idioms in English and Spanish. Now, they will work on altars for our Day of the Dead celebration.
