Hello!

My name is Joshua McCallen and I am 23 years old. I have lived in North Carolina the past 13 years and have loved every second of it. My family consists of Justin and his wife Emily, Lucas who works in NYC, and Matthew who is a freshman at UNC. My parents have been married for 25 years and are extremely supportive of all of us. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and with a Minor in Sports Management. I have worked with Chesterbrook since I was 18 years old and cannot wait to see what else is in store!

 

My class uses the acronym of T.E.A.M. This stands for Together Everyone Achieves More. I am always encouraging students to uplift each other and to be there for each other. This year we have focused on locomotor skills, hand-eye coordination, various sports including basketball, soccer, floor hockey etc… I like to engage in group activities as well as personalized learning whenever students have questions. This way everyone feels they are capable of doing something and they have the ability to help their fellow classmates.
