Mrs. Regina Blount - Technology

About Me

I am Regina Blount, the Technology teacher at Chesterbrook Academy Elementary in Cary.  I am from New Jersey.  I am happy to welcome you and your child to my class this year. I am extremely pleased to teach the bright students of Chesterbrook Academy Elementary.

I graduated from Saint Augustine’s College with a BS in Computer Science in1988.  I worked in IT  for 10+ years. as a programmer, Text and Mainframe Support.. I obtained my CCNA  in 2003.   I later started working in education through volunteer programs and as a teacher assistant.  I received my Teacher Licensure in 2006 and I pursued my graduate degree at Cappella University (Leadership and Administration) in 2009.

” Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching.”

I am looking forward to meeting all of you with your children so that we can all work together and grow your child.  Also, I do not only focus on academics but other activities and making your child a good human being, because that’s what ultimately matters.  For all this, I will need your help, and I am sure to get it.  It is imperative that you complete the parent student surveys requested by Ms. Soto.  This is a wonderful way for us to learn about your students and your family.

In case you would like to discuss your child’s performance, or if he or she has any problems in the classroom, then you can call me or email me on regina.blount@chesterbrookacademy.com. In case you would like to meet in person, I would highly appreciate you fixing the meeting at least a day or two prior.
