Dear CBA Families,

April was full of meaningful moments, from celebrating the magic of early childhood during Week of the Young Child to helping our students discover how they can help care for our planet on Earth Day. We’re proud to nurture young change makers and empower them to make a difference! As we look ahead to May, we’re excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week and all the wonderful mother figures in our community.

We are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week this week, May 5–9! It’s the perfect time to express our gratitude for the amazing work our teachers do every day. Their commitment to nurturing, inspiring, and guiding our students is what makes our school such a special place, and we are so fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented team. A special thank you to those who have donated to help make this week extra special!

Next week we will be celebrating the mother figures in our life with a grab and go breakfast on Monday, May 12th during drop off. We will also be celebrating our Pre-K students who are graduating and moving on to Kindergarten with our Pre-K graduations on Friday, May 16th. We are so proud of them and while they will be greatly missed, we know they will go on to do amazing things in elementary school and in their future!

The weather is certainly getting warmer and it’s important to take a moment to refresh your child’s spare clothes in their cubby. Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times and if your child wears crocs, they must have the strap on their heel. As a reminder, you are more than welcome to send in sunscreen for your child; however, you must complete a form for the sunscreen use before bringing it in and it cannot be expired. Please ask a member of the administrative team if you need a form. We also want to remind you that all water bottles and food/drink items brought from home must be labeled with your child’s first and last name and date.

We are currently in the process of adding some final touches to our summer camp calendar. We have a lot of fun things planned that we know your child will enjoy. Summer camp starts on Tuesday, May 27th!
