Dear Chesterbrook Academy Families,
I know we are all surprised how fast September has flown by!
We have certainly had a fantastic month here…it’s been incredibly busy, but the progress the students have made in just a few short weeks has been astounding! By now, everyone is settling in well to their new classrooms, their new routines and getting down to the business of learning. This year has so much in store, our entire team is excited to witness their growth!
Now that October is approaching, we have noticed an (ever so slight) dip in our temperatures. Please remember that our students go outside year round, and now is the time to bring sweaters or light jackets for recess time.
October is always a fun month at school…we’ll be diving in to all things Fall as we gear up to the busy holiday season. This year we celebrate our seventh annual Trunk or Treat event on October 30th. Always a great time, this year we are hoping to see even more trunk participants and lots of costume clad kiddos enjoying their Trick or Treating at CBA.
Events like this are big productions! We could definitely use a few extra hands – if you are interested in donating candy (nut free please!), lending a hand in our classrooms, or stuffing goody bags please let us know! A sign up sheet will be available at the front desk.
Trunk or Treat this year will be held on October 30th, from 3:30-4:30 pm. Please note – only decorated cars will be permitted in the CBA lot on this date– no pick up traffic during this time as we will have little ones scampering about. PLEASE park at the Chinn Center.
