Dear CBA Families,
Happy October! September sure was a fun and exciting month. We want to thank you for all of your support during our Little Caesar’s fundraiser and Scholastic Book Fair. Thanks to you, we will be able to purchase wonderful things for our classrooms!! Also, the Lifetouch photographs should arrive within the next few weeks so please keep an eye out for them.
Now that fall is officially here, it seems as though the cooler weather may finally be upon us. Please make sure to check your child’s cubby box for weather appropriate clothing. Also, be sure to check your child’s cubby daily, along with their daily sheet on the Links to Home app, for important information and/or forms.
This month we will host our Fall Festival, which will be held on Friday, October 21st. A flyer will be sent to you soon with more details. We will also be sending home information about our Yankee Candle Fundraiser which begins on October 10th. Be sure to check out our calendar on the website for more information and events.
As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. We invite your child (ren) to wear pink every Friday during this month to show their support. We will have a donation jar at the front desk and we invite you to donate throughout the month. All proceeds will go to the Pretty in Pink foundation.
October is sure to be an amazing month! We have already witnessed so many great educational experiences happening in all of our classrooms. Our students are learning about all different subjects including Christopher Columbus, Fire Safety, and Fall. There is a “car talk” section posted on our parent boards to help you connect school to home. Be sure to check that out daily!
Thank you, as always, for being the amazing families that you are. We truly appreciate being able to care for your children each and every day!
With friendly greetings,
Jac-Lynn Johnson
