From the Principal:
Wow, what an exciting start to our new year! We have many activities planned for February. So many families have been inquiring about Kindergarten so please join us for Kindergarten Open House on Tuesday, February 7th from 4-6pm. You can stop by the Kindergarten class and speak with Ms. Coates. This is a great time to find out about our program and have any of you Kindergarten concerns laid to rest.
On Wednesday, February 8th we will be having a puppet show by the Segal Puppet Theater. We also have a Lil’ Sports demo that will be for our younger children on the 23rd and 24th. As if that is not enough, keep your eyes open for Valentine class list. The teachers will be providing the list of names and if you choose to have you child give a Valentine card to his/her friends. Classroom party information will be coming out soon as well so be sure to sign up for a special treat to share with your child’s classmates.
We are thrilled to have Cafe Monday’s at school! Feel free to bring in your own travel mug or use one of the to go cups and have a cup of coffee to go every Monday morning. We have a variety of flavors, or you are welcome to bring in you own K cup from home.
As a reminder we are closed on Monday February 20th for our annual in service training. I am excited to share all the new information shared with me at my first conference back in October. The teachers will be learning new ways to keep your little ones excited and engaged.
Thank you for choosing Chesterbrook Academy for your child’s Educational path.
