November is a time of thanksgiving, a time of family and friends, and a time of celebration! We are so excited to be spending this time with everyone in our Chesterbrook Academy family!
Throughout the month of November, students will be learning about the true meaning of family, friends and being thankful. Students will learn about the first Thanksgiving and the beginnings of our great country America! As November is also a time of harvest, students will talk about what the harvest is and why it is important. They will examine fruits and vegetables up close and personal, and participate in activities such as science fruit and vegetable dissections, seed extracting and counting and plant seeds to one day reap our own bountiful harvest!
Lil’ Sports and Soccer Shots will continue throughout the month of November. Students are enjoying exercising their gross motor skills through these wonderful classes. Makin’ Music also meets every Thursday. Students love singing and dancing while learning new songs with Miss Jodi. It is never too late to join in the extracurricular fun! Please see Catie if you are interested in signing your child up for any of these classes.
