Dear CBA Families,
We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your participation in our Kids Helping Kids initiative this summer! Through our online fundraiser with Together We Rise, our bake sale, and from parent donations we were able to raise over $1,000 and provide 69 children in foster care with a “sweet case” or bag of their own (filled with extras of course). We are grateful for the opportunity to watch our students serve others these past few weeks and appreciate the role you all had in this.
It’s crazy to say that this is our last week of summer camp! Our teachers are hard at work preparing our classrooms for the new school year. Many of our students will be transitioning into new classrooms next week, and you will get to visit the new classroom during the End of Summer Luau.
As a reminder, the End of Summer Luau is Friday, August 9th from 6-7:30 p.m. There will be food, games, an ice cream truck, and Jump Bunch there for us all to enjoy. This is also a great opportunity for you and your child to visit their new classroom if they are transitioning. Each teacher will also be handing out a welcome packet with important information regarding each classroom. Be sure to read through those packets so that you and your child are prepared for the school year.
We are looking forward to another amazing year as we learn, grow, and have fun together as a CBA family!
