Hello Families,
Another month has flown by and we find ourselves at the start of August! We had an amazing July, with one of the highlights being our Kids Helping Kids campaign. Each of our students painted their flower pot, planted flowers and our camp kiddos hosted a flower sale. As of the end of July we totaled $500 that will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey! We couldn’t have done this without you! We cannot thank you enough for helping us in our efforts to begin our students on a journey of helping others in our community!
Just because August is the end of summer doesn’t mean we are slowing down on the fun here at CBA! Our summer campers will continue to participate in fitness, sports, splash days, music and more! Our Jr. and Sr. campers have more amazing trips this month- including a tour of Citizens Bank Park, PAWS Farm and Rastellie’s Kids Complex!
Here are a few more important dates for August:
Friday August 9: Book Lover’s Day- Bring your favorite book to school
Saturday August 24: Barnes and Noble Bookfair
**Join us at B&N on Rt. 70 from 10am-12pm for story time, crafts and bookfair!**
Thursday August 29: PJ Day
Friday August 30: Last Day of Summer Camp
